Adventure Game: Portfolio Piece

This project originally started as a part of Level Design course I was taking. Eventually I also decided to participate in 8th LD jam hosted by Steve Lee and while I planned to make something specifically for the jam, due to time constraints I decided against it. Luckily, this level neatly ties into the theme of "Special place" thanks to the Temple on the mountain.

Working on this level as well as the course tself, thought me a lot about level design as a whole and helped me grow as a designer myself.

Storywise, You're an adventurer who's seeking an old artifact of great value. Your research led You to a remote island in the middle of the pacific. Unfortunately, Your boat crashed due to the raging storm which meant You'll have to explore the island on foot. During Your voyage You learned that some PMCs are already on the island looking for the same artifact, so You're forced to fight through them to reach Your goal.
